My work is composed of porcelain life forms derived from oceanic animalia. The existence of the creatures contain a hybridization of reality. A main constant within the body of work is that none of the creatures are actual representations of what exists in nature. Combinations of living coral, nudibranch, mollusk, anemone, urchin, octopus, as well as a variety of other animalia are used to express a living world that evolves from my mind, or the summation of my lived and recollected experiences. The idea of my work was to bring my favorite environment, or more specifically, its life forms, to a public, which is not normally aware of its splendors.
